These Militants are truly Nigerians.

When these Militants were in full swing, I thought to myself, did these guys really know what they were up against?

Didn't they know how many billionaires the Nigerian Oil Industry had produced?

Didn't they realize that over and above the problems of the Niger Delta were the very very huge and vested interests of the Western World Powers in Nigerian Oil? The situation in the Niger delta always had an immediate impact on Global Oil prices.

Of Course, had it been these technological Giants had managed to come up with an alternative to Crude Oil, all of this will be Nigeria's business. Period!

It would only be a matter of time before the Nigerian Government will revert to a Military solution, which has always seemed to work for them, so why change?

The local and foreign interests being hurt were simply too powerful for a peaceful solution to the militancy to be the dominant idea.

The Militants, being true Nigerians, are mostly now singing a new tune now that they know the government is "serious" about ending the Militancy by any means necessary.

The Amnesty is being lapped up like ice cream, as if to confirm that most of the Militants were themselves opportunists seeking their own share of Nigeria's largely misspent oil booty.

Problem is, will this Amnesty Solution be permanent?
